A recovery community organization (RCO) is an independent, non-profit organization led and governed by representatives of local communities of recovery. These organizations organize recovery-focused policy advocacy activities, carry out recoveryfocused community education and outreach programs, and/or provide peer-based recovery support services (P-BRSS).
A recovery coach is someone that has a desire to assist people seeking recovery or in recovery discover their way to sustainable health, happiness, and self-worth by building confidence, sharing hope, and believing in the individual's ability to live a self-directed life.
Any person that is struggling with drug or alcohol use. Any person seeking recovery or in recovery. Any person or family member who is supportive of recovery. Any person, organization or business that is seeking resources, information or support pertaining to recovery.
